5/22/13: Gotta have a Herman update!…
Gabe got chrome letters for the tailgate that spell out “HERMAN.” Then he was driving through East LA one day and saw a Jeep club meeting up and honked the “awooga” horn and they all went running out into the street after him! Herman is now living the life I always wanted for him. He’s the most beautifully maintained of all the old 2-doors in the club, and there’s another Cherokee with 500,000 miles! Gabe’s father-in-law is going to rebuild his transmission.
The new Rav already has over 3,000 miles on it. I started with 8. …I kinda want to go see the rest of the Southwest now.
Spotted this cabin with a killer view in Big Sur last weekend.
I drove through Big Sur alone yesterday… and did whatever I felt like doing. :-)
